A feel for Central District

I remember the Central District as a residential and cultural counterweight to Seattle’s technology-centered image. It is a living neighborhood, not a list of attractions.

Approach it with time to understand the local history and the people and institutions that shape it. A neighborhood meal and a cultural stop can be more meaningful than trying to fill an entire day.
