A feel for SoDo

South of Pioneer Square and the stadiums, Seattle becomes more industrial. Distilleries, clubs, Filson and scattered food destinations make this a different kind of outing from the compact neighborhoods north of the canal.

Choose specific stops and plan the connections between them. The gaps matter here; it is not an area to approach as one continuous neighborhood stroll. If tastings are part of the day, arrange your transportation first.

Shape your day

  1. Pair the district with a Mariners or Seahawks event when schedules allow.

  2. Choose a distillery tasting route with reservations and transportation planned.

  3. Visit Filson and one food destination.

  4. Treat clubs and dancing as a separate evening itinerary rather than an add-on to a daytime walk.
