A feel for South Lake Union

South Lake Union holds two versions of Seattle side by side. Amazon’s campus, the Spheres and newer buildings give it a polished corporate character. Lake Union is the counterweight.

Getting near or onto the water makes the district feel like more than an office campus. Start with an architecture walk, then leave time for the waterfront or a planned water activity.

Shape your day

  1. Walk the Amazon campus and see the Spheres exterior or visit according to current public rules.

  2. Eat at one of the newer restaurants.

  3. Continue to Lake Union for a waterfront walk or planned water activity.

  4. Use Flatstick or another activity as the reason to linger.
