A feel for Greenwood

Greenwood and Phinney Ridge feel oriented toward the people who live nearby. Restaurants, small bars and neighborhood businesses make this a relaxed place to spend time away from downtown tourism.

Yonder Cider is my strongest named stop from these notes. For a longer outing, Carkeek Park adds wooded trails, beach and train views, and space for a family day.

Shape your day

  1. Pair Woodland Park Zoo or Green Lake with a Greenwood meal.

  2. Walk the commercial spine and stop at Yonder Cider or another local venue.

  3. For a longer day, drive to Carkeek Park for trails, beach and train views.
